Ungeheurer Trieb
Project for an Immersive Sound Installation and Music Programm.
"Ungeheuerer Trieb" is an interdisciplinary project that includes an immersive sound installation and two concert evenings, merging contemporary and electronic music. It is part of the exhibition "Under the Volcano", which explores the transformation of nature and the sublime in the context of the Anthropocene. Led by artist Jessica Rimondi, the curatorial and artistic project brings together emerging and established artists, including composers Giulia Lorusso and Yoko Konishi, as well as the duo Santorsa-Pereyra.
The first concert focuses on contemporary music, featuring a preview of Lorusso’s work "Cercle" and the guitar solo "Unpolished Clouds". The second concert showcases electronic artists ASERET, Odra Ode, Kat Polar, and Menion.
The sound installation "Auftauchen", located in Berlin’s Fasskeller, utilizes sensors and modular systems to create an immersive, generative audio ecosystem, offering visitors a transformative experience
