FURO is a sound installation realised in collaboration with Edoardo Folli

FURO is a multisensory installation

stemming from a reflection on

proto-being, consisting of the

originary matter of which the whole

universe is composed in its state of

pure possibility, before any kind of

determination.

It takes shape as an organic sound

sculpture. By lying on its surface,

visitors access an internal sonic

landscape transmitted through bone

conduction, becoming physically

integrated into the sonic matter itself.

FURO is a proto-organism, a

mythological hybrid entity, an all-encompassing being. Its ancient

essence emerges from sonic depths,

audible only through physical contact,

immersing the visitor in a dimension

of astonishment and ewilderment.

Crossing references from Platonic,

Neoplatonic, and contemporary

philosophical theories of

cosmogenesis, FURO represents

Matter as origin, where all

metamorphoses take place, and the

singular trace of the Unicum becomes

perceptible.
